O HDE - Hard Dance Event - tem como objectivo reunir os profissionais de "harder styles of dance music" e faz parte do programa da 15ª edição de Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE), que nasceu no ano de 1996 como uma pequena conferência de música electrónica sendo nos dias de hoje uma das maiores e melhores conferências de música electrónica a par da mais conhecida, por entre os "típicos" portugueses, a Winter Music Conference (WMC).
Hard Dance Event Connecting the Harder Styles irá decorrer na sede da Q-Dance, Dance-tunes e ID&T em Entree 300, Amsterdão.
The HDE - Hard Dance Event, aims to connect professionals in the harder
styles of dance music. As an official part of the program of the Amsterdam
Dance
Event (ADE) it allows artists, promoters, entrepreneurs and other
professionals
to discuss, experience and continue current and new
developments. The program,
set on Thursday the 21st of October, consists of
plenty of time to get together
in the bar area, seminars, workshops and meet
& greets. The event will draw
an international crowd with invitations
sent out to the global hard dance
community.
The location is the
state of art headquarters of ID&T
& Q-dance and allows for the use
of all modern presentation and
communication means. The building is situated
in the new entertainment and
shopping district in the South East of
Amsterdam and close to the train and
metro station. Within a short walk
there are some bars, restaurants and both the
Amsterdam ArenA football
station and Heineken Music Hall which have an important
part in hard dance
history.
The harder styles in dance music consist of
many different
genres ranging from dubstep to speedcore. The number of music
labels goes
well in the hundreds, maybe even thousands, and hard dance tracks
have
frequently found their way high into the charts. In Holland alone hard
dance
events are visited by over 600.000 people annually while communities like
Partyflock.nl (which is mainly hard dance oriented) have millions of
pageviews
every week. Facebook and Youtube represent another big chunk of
web presence
with profiles from artists, labels and events having tens of
thousands of fans.

September) to receive their official invitation for the
event. Hotel deals are
available while the location is easily reachable by
car or public transport.
Schiphol Airport is close by and there will be a
shuttle service between the ADE
and the HDE.
The fifteenth edition
of the Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE)
will take place from 20-23 October 2010.
The four day event is the world's
leading electronic music conference and
showcase festival and 90,000 festival
visitors and 2,200 conference
participants are expected. The ADE conference has
become the most important
of its kind and provides the international electronic
music industry a

Faltam as palavras para expressar o "feeling" que esta reportagem transmite a quem está de fora de um evento destes, aumentando ainda mais o apetite para estar num evento destes.

Tomorrowland, um dos maiores festivais mundiais de música electrónica, tem lugar todos os anos no mês de julho na Bélgica (na parte flamenga se não me engano). A organização ID&T belga preparou este ano 12 aréas diferentes desde o mais comercial ao mais underground recordando também a década de 90 com a presença monstruosa dos Scooter (De) entre outros bons e grandes nomes.
Qualquer verdadeiro amante da música electrónica vê-se realizado num evento como Tomorrowland (ID&T (Be)), encontra nesta ilha o seu mundo, que poderá ser grande ou pequeno - mas encontra-o!
Preconceitos? Aqui não há disso e quem o for não consegue expressar-se. Seja house (oito) ou hardcore (oitenta), todos estão lá para "curtir" e respeitar o que "curte" aquilo que o que respeita não "curte".
Organização, não a conheço em campo, mas tenho boas fontes e há coisas que, há "long time ago", falam por si onde essas mesmas fontes apenas confirmam aquilo que creio o que é ID&T.
Mais uma vez digo: Portugal aprende! E sim temos (organizadores portugueses) menos recursos monetários, mas temos muito daquilo que não deveriamos ter nada - pre-con-cei-to - que origina in-cul-tu-ra.
